Hi & Welcome to BYC! I'm new here too, great place to be. Can't wait to see & get our first eggs. We still have some months yet...Dec/Jan.

you will enjoy this site, it is very informative, also enjoy those eggs, just the sigh of healthy hens, now you need a Rooster to increase your flock, you can't have enough chickens. If I could I would move my family to the chicken coop and have my chickens live in the house but I think that my husband would put up a stink. Again welcomee

WELCOME!!!! if you are used to grocery store eggs- REAL eggs are a surprise. Another surprise- if you boil fresh eggs -they are hard to peel. but if you add a bunch of salt to the water when you boil them they peel fine. COme into chat sometime!

Thank you all so much. I have been having a browse through this site and its pretty cool! I must admit though...compared to you lot...4 chickens is a bit pathetic. But I do home to get more, if these survive...lol...Just gonna see how I get on with 4 first.
