Had chickens 50 years ago. Forgot a lot and am anxious to learn again. Am retired now. Never got farm life out of my system. I'm excited to have 23 Australorps. They are 2 weeks now. Am enjoying watching them develop.
I also like gardening, canning, cooking.

Welcome! I also love chicken-tending and gardening, my basil plant is doing especially well right now! I’m a new gardener though and planted a few vegetables pretty late in the summer, but am getting some jalepeño and bell pepper sprouts!
