So, we have decided to hold off for a month or so. We will look get them at the end of March. Still lots of snow on the ground and I don't want these guys to be 4 weeks old and find that i still cant build the coop. Being responsible is no fun......
No fun, but better in the end. Something you may want to consider, is to build a brooder box with a light and put it in the garage if that's an option for you. We currently have a mama rabbit and her 5 babies in a brooder box. (Negative temps is not a good time to have babies-but accidents happen...)
Also, if you are looking to get specific breeds, you need to act now because they go fast-unfortunately. Just things to consider
