Well once again a big thank you to everyone. The BYC community is one of if not the kindest group of people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. As suggested, my silkie (who I have decided to call Kebab, Babbs for short) will soon be joined by a painted pullet from a breeder in my nearby area. Planning on getting the sand this weekend (Thursday today here in Aus) and the new chicken during the start of next week, then both she and Babbs will be moving outdoors. (Took Babbs out today to have a look and he was less than impressed when he had to go back inside :lau ).
 
Hello again all!! I'm sorry I haven't been on, school has been overwhelming. Its been several months and I'm glad to say that my little chicken has grown into a lovely rooster.
