I'm new, like so many others. I'm a happy father of three, my loving wife and I took in a pair of chicks from my daughter's school and we're going whole hog on this thing. The chicks are getting bigger and prettier every day, and I've started building a coop and run for them. I'll post pictures of that in the appropriate forum once I get a minute to put them together. Our three kids are very excited to have the chicks along with the rest of our menagerie of beasts, and I look forward to learning with them how best to raise and care for chickens. Our little urban farm is growing and we couldn't be more happy.

Very nicely done! Also remember if you have any questions, don´t hesitate to ask anything in the forums!

Good luck and I hope everything goes as planned!

Once they are 6-8 weeks old you may want to post photos at "what breed or gender is this," to determine just what you have. Welcome to BYC
