so glad you have joined us. Conrats on those first eggs!!

I also started with 6 when I really only needed 4 ( had read about likely losses).....but IMO those of us who love and care for our "children" must have a higher survival rate
And as time goes by, if you do lose any for unexpected issues, it really helps to have the larger number.
