BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock when they arrive and/or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

Welcome! Glad to hear y'all starting on this journey. You have heard of chicken math right? One chick plus two chicks equals goats, cows, pigs, ducks, rabbits, and even a giraffe! Haha. Maybe not. But we are super stoked to have you here!

Haha! Well, we HAVE already discussed future furry possibilities. We will see how chickens go, then maybe later on we will add some goats and a donkey or alpaca. I definitely want to keep bees, which will be next but that will have to wait until next year.
There is much to do on the property. We just recently (between dumps of snow) got a head start on clearing a large, overgrown garden. We will be putting up a new fence where we hope to run the chickens on occasion. Lots to do!
