(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Sort of, I raised broilers for a couple of years, but this is my first time working with layers.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 19 hens but there is a threat of adding ducks soon.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Reds, Australorp, White Leghorn, Golden Laced Wyandottes
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Eggs. That's it for me.
I am working as sort of a PT farm manager for a small family farm with 3 horses, 19 chickens, and lots of work to be done.
My reason for joining is I want to build a chicken tractor and I need help figuring out how to do the wheels so I can lever them up for resting and down to move the tractor.
