Ive kept chickens and guineas for about 25 years and my mother and grandmother kept chickens and guineas when I was young. I showed chickens and turkeys in
4-H many moons ago. I can go and sit with them in the coop for hours just enjoying their antics and personalities. Its such a peaceful place to be isnt it?

I have used backyard chickens on many occasions for answers to questions and finally broke down and joined. Im looking forward to learning more because lets face it. If you love them you can never get enough!

My neighbor used to have Guineas that would come over to my place during the day - I enjoyed having them around, they were funny big birds, and they would go back home in the evening so I never had an issue with noise at night.
