Hello, and welcome! Do you have any duck's yet?

Hello! Technically I do not but I had a question about some wild duck eggs that were laid in between my home and my neighbors. I’m not sure whether it was mom or dad who was killed? But one was along with 4 of the 6 eggs. The eggs have been left alone since yesterday. I was wondering if I should try to hatch them myself?? Or if it’s useless? I feel awful for them

Have you tried to candle them to both see if they are viable, or how far along that they may be?

How do I tell if they’re viable?? I’ve never done this before so I have no idea what to do. They’ve been there about a week or so?
