I am a Kansan. I used to raise feeder chickens a few years back, but got out of that business. I've always loved chickens, so recently purchased 18 brown egg layers. They are about 4 weeks now and doing great. Mixed breeds. I am waiting for my coup to show up....got one from myamishgoods folks. This site has tons of info. it looks like, and have lots of reading to do. Raising hens will be new to me. Looking forward to getting lots of knowledge here! Kelly.
