Hi, My name is Chris. I live on Long Island. I have just started my own flock with 5 Red Star hens which are a lot of fun. Two weeks in and the girls have adjusted quite well to their new home. I am guessing they are around 16 weeks old and should be laying soon as their combs are turning from a dull pink to a darker shade of red. They are a welcome addition to our family.
