My name is Faith, I am 30 y.o. A mother of two and a wife to my high school sweetheart, 13 years and counting. Chickens are a new adventure for me. I am hoping to expand my knowledge on them through this site, and my own experiances.

Welcome from California! If I hadn't found BYC I am sure my chickens would have had much less positive lives! I learned how to build a coop (two coops, actually) and so many more wonderful things. The BYC members are absolutely helpful, informative, and many are FUNNY. Because of BYC, I have many, many friends I have never met.

Please understand from the get-go that chickens are addictive, as is BYC. Enjoy!

I have quickly become my streets bird lady. I have 2 parakeets 2 cocketiels, 2 Barred Rock Chickens ( whom i thought were Dom's), 2 I have no clue what they are chickens (LOL) and a silver seabright rooster. I also have a beagle named none other than snoopy

. And in a month or so, I will have 3 rabbits. LOL. I think i just described why My house is the funny farm.
