Hi there...
I'm new to BYC and new to raising chickens. We have 17 around 2 1/2 months old- 6 red sex link (is that what they're actually called?), 2 Black Austrolorps, 1 Leghorn, 2 Americaunas, 2 Buff Brahmas and 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks. We are having a ball with them. I just wanted to introduce myself and show off the coop my husband built out of pallets.

very nice setup I would replace all the chicken wire near the top of the coop with 1/2" hardware cloth. I would also run it around the perimeter of the run from ground to 2-3 feet up so raccoons and other predators can't pull chickens thru the openings.

You probably can't see it from the photos, but the bottom 3 feet are covered in very small chicken wire through which a predator could not fit a paw/hand.
