We are so stoked to start our journey in the chicken world. We have all ready received so much awesome advice from byc. We are a small family looking to become as self sufficient as possible while still being in the city. We have all ready started a fairly large garden and tomorrow we will be getting our first 3 baby phoenix chick's then on Wednesday we will be getting 3 amarucanunas (spelling?)and 2 black sex line chick's from our local feed store and can't be more excited. Look forward to being part of this community.

Hello! Welcome! Sounds like a wonderful mix of chickens! I just love Phoenix Roosters! Being as self sufficient as possible is one of our families goals too! Good luck with everything!

Thanks for all the support. My wife picked up four of the Phoenix clicks today. The rest to follow on Thursday. Looking forward to watching them grow and especially the blue eggs. Pictures to follow soon.
