We're in the planning stages of having our own farm. I always thought I'd have my dad to turn to when we got to this part, but we lost him almost 3 years ago. It's a very exciting ( and slightly frustrating) time for us as we transition out of child raising, searching for & preparing for our dream home and transition into caring for aging parents. Many changes to come over the next few years!
I grew up on a farm, so I'm no stranger to milking, chickens & the like. I'm glad I found this board. I'm sure I'll find a wealth of information & help if & when I need it.
