I'm from Natalia,Texas. I have had chickens for about a year now. I live real close to forest area that I have problems with predators. My flock changes in size all the time. I'm here due to a new problem I can not fix on my own.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas. I'm sorry you are having problems with predators. There is a good article at http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2013/07/11-tips-for-predator-proofing-chickens.html on predator proofing your chickens. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in finding a solution to your problem.

Welcome to Backyard chickens. One quick tip is to use 1/2" hardware cloth in ALL areas, you would be using flimsy chicken wire instead. Covered runs keep out climbers and raptors.
