It's hard to know exactly what's going on inside their bodies. All we can do is treat the symptoms and hope what ever is causing an issue heals over on time. For now, do your best and appreciate every moment you have with her! It’s so strange because she’s Always pecking the ground rather than her hopper( although she does sometimes- but seems to like the grit bits! Although as soon as I threw the rice in she went crazy eating! So one minute she looks really poorly and the next nothing seems to be up! I am so concerned about her though as give her lots of fuss and attention. I just hope I am doing the right thing as she’s so young ! Tonight when I put the other girls to bed they all had massively full crops but she didn’t. And I also find they eat like gannets but she’s more gentle ( apart from the rice that she scoffed) do you think she may have a much worse problem? Sorry to keep messaging you but your giving me strength x
Thanks to your help my girl is back to normal!! I am so grateful! I did write another post but you probably didn’t see it! Hi, so yesterday we went back to square 1Oh that's fabulous!!! I love a happy ending!![]()
Something is definitely not right with her. If you have a vet you can take her to, I most certainly would. Keep us posted!Hi, so yesterday we went back to square 1she had 4 days normal and now crop is so full yesterday morning! I am so disheartened. Not sure if I should do it all again ( I did try to vomit her but nothing came up. I can hear gurgling though so wondering if it’s a respiratory thing? Or take her to the vet and probably say goodnight. I just can’t give up yet x
