My names Paul Jacobs, I am from south central PA. My three children and I just built our first coop and have 8 chicks in a brooder I also built. I have access to pallets of extraordinary size so I get a lot of free wood!! We are completely new to this as a whole. We got 4 Black Australurps, two bantam silkies, and two unknown from a straight run.
So far enjoy talking to the chics half will sit in our hands, the two silkies are skirmish and the two unknowns are very skid dish. So far it’s keeping the kids and I occupied during these weird days. I have found a lot of helpful articles on this site so far and finally today decided to join.
Other hobbies:I make maple syrup with the crazy weather in made 10 gallons this year. And I have two bee hives I just started as well..
