There are just a few guys on there that are either always negative, or they just post stupid stuff when they have no idea what they are talking about. Then when they get corrected on it, they just spout out more BS...but enough about that other board, it irritates me talkin about it, lol....celtic hill, what varieties of oegb are you raising?

It almost reminds me of high school.

FarmGirl01,I dont know if you remember me or not but I talked with you a little at Pine Bluff this year.I had most of the OE besides yours at that show.So how are your birds coming along this year?

Gotchya!

Im new to this whole chicken showing thing, Besides trying to work on the buff I have a pair of Black Old English that I absolutely love, I lost my white pair last year unfortunately I never go to show them.

In the event you would be interested in some killer whites I will have some available this fall once the weather cools off. Just let me know if you want for show or breeders they are a little different based on what you want.

I remember you. I'm planning on going back there and to El Dorado and also Haynsville, La. They seem to be doing fine. Lots of young birds to chose from. I know there not great, but if I don't take something I won't go.

I dont know if any of you are interested or not,but my first show of the year will be in Fayetteville Arkansas November 5th.It is usually a real nice show.It is put on by Heart of the Ozarks Poultry Association. If you want to look it over go to HOTOPA.com

Haynesville was probably my favorite show last year. Some great people down there.

I had heard that was a good show, we have not made out there before. Do they often have many OE? And if so what varieties? I am looking more for some competition with Opal, Columbian and Brassy Back.
Additionally Golden Sebright as they are my middle son's pride and joy and seldom loose with those.

I didnt make it to Fayetteville last year but I heard there were around 150 OE.Year before last when I was there I remember there were of course alot of blacks and bb red. There were alot of brassy back. All of the brassies belonged to S&E

I don't bother showing Black or BB as there are always so many, some of teh kids will them at times. The Brassy's bounce between me and two of our boys based on what they want to show. I do have a cockrell this year that is just a drop dead beautifull bird, I really think he is better than his father. We may show a few brown red hens, and based on what I see at the all game show maybe a few Birchen pullets but will wait and see. We have two double shows in Newcastle in Oct.

I am thinkin about showing a few blue brassy backs, but have never done it before, either conditioning, or getting them tested. I might give you a little challenge carl if these brassys turn out nice.

bring em on, I will be happy to help you out with getting them ready and the entry forms etc. The Blue Brassies you have need to seen they are some of teh nicest I have seen yet. I would like to see what you might get with your two sport hens and that little guy here, you know my cull bird that I wont let leave.
