He's almost done growing. I also need to give him a trim. I did my boy's 4-H bird yesterday and all went well. My little girl kept saying "he's dead". LOL Bought an awesome pair of scissors. Worth every penny.

Ouch! I wondered how people dubbed their show roosters. What do you do for the bleeding?

I use ice water and flour. Most ppl don't use anything. It doesn't bleed much.

i can't bring myself to dub any of my own... besides, i don't show them and i like their combs...

interesting to note... we're one of only a few countries that still allow tail docking and ear cropping on dogs... with cock fighting banned, why does this persist?

Definitely not Chocolate, they look Blue Birchen to me.

I learn something new every day, lol. The way their combs look and feel I just figured that they would bleed like crazy.
