Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I'm really hoping they are Cuckoo, but I can't be sure. They're from my own flock, and I have a blue cock covering a self blue and 2 creles that are laying. I'm terrible at remembering genetics, so I'm just going to have to be patient until they get some feathers.

I love wheatens! Blue wheatens are my absolute favorites. I've actually been looking for some... are yours laying? Maybe we could work out a trade if my girls step up their laying.

All depends where you're located. ;)
I only have one hen laying now. But she is doing really well. Practically an egg every day. I'm open to work something out if you're up to it! ;) I'm located in Florida.

If you want to see pics of my two breeders I can pm them to you.

I have a questions and it might sound stupid, but I bought a quad of Silver Duckwing OEGB's, I just hatched 6 of their eggs and can the male/females be determined by color. The reason I ask is that some of the chicks are lighter in color and the others ar darker chipmunk colors. Thanks for any answers. Again sorry if this is a silly question.

I was told I have a Wheaten pullet and a Blue Mottled (?) cockerel OEGB's? They are about 6 weeks old now. Can anyone confirm that's what colors they really are?

That girl is super tiny, by the way. Here she was about a week ago with the less than a week old babies (though the babies are standard size).

Well, I'm all the way across the US: California. I have also never shipped eggs, but have done quite a bit of research on it. Have you ever shipped eggs?

Nope never. I've also done my research but there's still that possibility that they don't survive the trip. Yet, you also read where eggs are shipped here from Europe. *shrugs* so I guess everything's possible. ;)

I'm hoping to start shipping eggs, but I wanted to do a practice ship to somewhere before I actually ask money for them. Just a suggestion.
