Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Thanks for not calling them mutts. As I said I was willing to discuss and did admitt to the mistake. I am now looking for a white oegb. Easy is not my way. When I get it right The Red Pyle will be from my line of Red Pyle not someone elses. Sorry the Mutt and judgement on County fairs and non sactioned shows comment really set me off.

I love white oegb! I used to have em, I got some white serama chicks so I could try and bring out the white in my oegbs(they got it but its been taken over by bbred and black) I really see no problem in what you want to do

There isn't a problem. I just used the wrong hen type . Still got birds that met ABA standard in my copy and my dad's copy They aren't in my Granddad's, way before they wee accepted LOL

sorry to jump in on your topic but i need help .I've looked on line and cant find any info . now the problem could some one help me my oegb are not hatching out eggs are fertile I'm hatching other breeds with no issues . jest wandering if their is something that I need to add to feed are something .

I'm getting into experimenting with my OEG's since I have no OEGB rooster.

Nothing wrong with that depending on your goals. Just don't call the crosses OEGBs & get mad when someone tells you they're not. OEGBs are probably the most popular breed in the US. It's easy to get a male if you want to pursue OEGBs.

I know. Just a little bored while I'm waiting on finding a LB rooster just a little bit more closer to me.
