I'm right next to you in Massachusetts.... Watch for water freezing over night!!!!! I walk out new water every morning when I open up the coop. Than on 5 degree days, if I'm home.. I check again mid day. And when I get home from work... They will chip through thin ice that forms on top, to get to thawed water in the middle, but not if the whole bowl freezes. I dont use electric out at my coop or run.

It's not a biggie, they definitely cared for them. They honestly were doing the best they could, but things didnt work out as they hoped, that's why they asked me. Plus, I'm not sure I would have had this opportunity if it weren't for them. The more and more I read on this site, the less overwhelmed I am and the more excited I am.
