We are a family of 4 living in Arlington Texas - we have 2 daughters (4 & 2 yrs), a cat and one fish, and now 4 chickens
. We love diy projects, minimalism and trying to live sustainably.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
We decided to get chickens recently because we have wanted them for awhile and with my husband home during this quarantine, we have had more time to build. My husband built a coop and chicken run and we researched good breeds for backyard chickens. We found a local farmer who raises Rhode Island Reds so we bought from him. They are beautiful and healthy! I can't wait to learn more! We live in the city, but plan to move to more land eventually.
