Hello BYC! New member from CT

[Adela Farm]

Well we finally decided to join after lurking for over a year.
We raised ten chicks last spring and still have all of them.
There are 2 each of Rir, Barred Rock, Buff Orpington, Jersey Giant and Black star.
My wife and I live on our little farm in south central Connecticut along with our two boys. Adding chickens started with building an 8x12 woods coop with the help of my father. It came out great and the hens love it. This year we plan to add a large run.
We also put 200 xmas trees in the ground last spring with another 200 sitting in my garage awaiting planting this weekend. Spring is a busy time on the Farm
