(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
*Yes!
We got our chickens in May of 2019
Hatched first Narragansett Turkeys this month. August 2019.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
*13 Chickens
3 Turkeys
(May lose 1 to what appears to be Neurological issues)

(3) What breeds do you have?
*Oh gosh. Where do I start?
Black Australorps
Speckled Sussex
Easter Eggers
Delaware's
Black sex links
Brown leghorn
Narragansett Turkeys

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
*The joy they bring and personalities they have. As well as the food they provide my family.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
*Hunting, fishing, crafts, vinyl work and enjoying my son.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
*My husband and I met eachother when I was 14 years old, which was 13 years ago. We have an amazing 5 year old son.
We have 2 cats, 3 dogs, fish, and hermit crab.
We love animals of all kinds.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
*I found BYC when looking for information regarding my chickens. This site is so informative and its an added perk when it is actual people going through similar issues.
I've known about it since May 2019.
I finally joined because I want to be able to post and join in on everything.
So glad to be here finally!!
