Good morning all,
Long time lurker first time poster. My family and I started with chickens for our first time this past spring. Thought it would be something fun for my toddler to have while we were in the garden. He loves them, so will his little sister when she gets of age to help. Up until the day we brought them home I've known nothing about raising chickens. Definitely has been a learn as you go process!
We currently have 4 ISA Brown hens and will probably add to that in the spring. I'd like to find a Wyandotte to bring into the mix. In the process of building a 6x10 Woods style coop that I've learned and read about on here. I even bought the book that was recommended from 1920, I've received a few eye rolls when I say that out loud. I'll be uploading pictures of the progress soon.
Have a great day, looking forward to our many conversations!
