Hello
I am excited to finally be part of the forum. I have been peeking in over the past 6 months. I purchased some hens and a rooster from a local breeder here in Southern California when they were just 5 weeks old. And they are such amazing birds, so affectionate and smart. Each one has it's own unique personality, I had no idea they were like this. I wanted chickens so we can have our own organic eggs, and I ended up getting so much more than just eggs. They bring so much peace into my life and the same effect as meditating during yoga... love them!
A few of them just started laying and I have so many questions... so here I am. I look forward to all the posts and getting to know you all.
