Oh gosh too late. I pulled them up and ave to the neighbors so maybe they will share. Is the same true for growing garlic?

Yes, the chickens will just leave the garlic alone. They won't eat it.

Welcome to BYC. Lula's genetics are telling her that the chickens are fair game. Separation of the dog and chickens will probably be a necessity.

Lulabell is always going to be a serious threat to your chickens - unless she get a mob pecking and flogging when the chickens are grown up- you said she was "chicken." But, then she might just go after young chicks. They will have to be kept totally apart forever!!

Tell her no more bark boxes unless she chills out.

I do feel guilty closing her inside while I do my supervised free ranging and gardening. She loves to be outside with me. She also sees me taking treats out to the chicks everyday (they eat better than I) so Lu's been getting special treats to help with my guilt. She also loves to eat my tomatoes! Soon she may be too fat to even chase the chicks
