I just got my girls on Friday May 2nd, they were two days old! So cute and tiny! I decided to get a variety....one of each of the following:
Americana, Gold Sex Links, Iowa Blue, Plymouth Rock, Silver Wyandotte and Sicilian Buttercup!
They are going to be quite the lookers! ;)

Two of them already have had "pasty butt" so got that all cleaned out and put some organic ACV in their water.

Getting ready to start building the chicken coop which I got the design from "The GardenCoop.com". Its a very nice plan and I plan on adding my own tweeks!

Before I bought my girls I found this site and learned more than I thought I needed to know!!!
So glad I did my research!
I look forward to visiting your site!

Wish me luck!

Try boiling up some Hard Boiled egg's and after cooling remove the shell and mash the egg up really good then serve and do this in the morning and one in the evening for about four days and see if there is a difference in your chicks

Good luck in all your poultry ventures

Welcome to BYC!

Great that you got a hold of the pasty butt. However if you have still having an issue with one of your babies, you can post a question in our emergency section for help with your bird...

Good luck with your coop build and I hope you can get the bird that is not feeling well, back to good health soon. :)
