I'm new here and just checking things out.
I raise a home flock of meat chicckens in my yard almost every year, and I like to keep a small flock of laying hens. I just moved so I've got to get a new floc going at the new house.
I tyr to raise hertiage birds for meat even though it takes longer... just the basic black or red broilers.
