There can be many reasons for this type of shell. Now I have questions for you.
What is your general location on this globe?
(Do you live where it is cold, warm, humid, rainy, tropical, sub tropical, United States, Europe)
What type of chicken feed are you feeding?
How old is this chicken?
How many chickens do you have?
Are you feeding them grit/Oyster shell?
Does your chicken free range aka: walking around freely in your yard?
Can you post a picture of your coop or where your chicken sleeps at night?
We CAN HELP you but, your not giving us much information here.
