Hello chicken people! A little about me…

Hi everybody! I’m an avid chicken lover and mother! I’ve been raising chickens for 5 1/2 years. I love my chickens and spoil them whenever possible! I currently have 9 adult chickens.
Here’s what they are (and yes, they all have names—a MUST for me):

• Stella (a mixed breed bantam, but I’m guessing mostly Nankin), 5 years old
• Starlight, Cuckoo Maran, 4 years old
• Jessica, Cuckoo Maran, 4 years old
• Doodle, Cuckoo Maran, 4 years old
• Firefly, Speckled Sussex, 4 years old
• Tiffany, Speckled Sussex, 4 years old
• Tilly, Easter Egger, 4 years old
• Lacey, Easter Egger, 2 years old
• Spice, Cinnamon Queen, 2 years old

They are all ladies and I love them each very much. I am really excited to join this chicken community to learn more and get advice!

Spice is the red one in the back. Doodle is the Cuckoo Maran at the bottom. Jessica is the Cuckoo Maran all the way to the right. Firefly is the very blurry Sussex at the bottom (she’s also the loud one).

I love hearing what other people’s chicken breeds are like!
I used to have Wyandottes, which all the hatcheries say are easy-going, but mine were very high in the pecking order.
