My name is Mary Beth and I have 3 black/white chickens, 2 Rhode Island Red hens, one six month old duck, and six brown/yellow ducklings that are 2 weeks old. Something else I have is lots of questions. Hoping to find answers here.

Nice to meet you Mary Beth, thank you for joining us at Backyard chickens. If you put photos of your black & white chickens at "what breed or gender is this." you can find out what they are. Guessing off the top of my head, I would think a popular breed like Barred Rocks. They are black(males more grayish) & white barring which is not the same as large areas of white /black.

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends

:welcome!

I'm glad you're enjoying your ducklings and chickens! Feel free to stop by the Duck section and share pictures, everyone loves seeing ducklings there.
Thank you I'm still trying to navigate byc. I think I orginally posted on someone else's thread.
