I large coop is good, chickens are so much more healthy when they have a lot of personal space.

Well, they certainly have lots of room! They particularly enjoy their dust bath. I put in a child's sandbox and that is where they spend most of their time. I mixed garden dirt, sand and herbs.

Hello! Nice meeting you! I don't think so..at least not anytime soon. My four that I have now were raised together and are a cohesive group. They care for each other and look out for each other so well. Not sure what would happen if I introduced a strange chicken into their cosy little group! lol

hey...I think I answered someone else's beginners posts and maybe didn't get to all of mine...I'm so confused. I am having difficulty navigating the site and understanding the menus and hierarchy of them.
