Hi Delmarva. I am in Townsend, Delaware. I have 24 one week old chicks. I will probably be looking to find new homes for about 1/2 of them when I figure out who is who. Or should I say who is roo. My kids think I won't be able to part with any of them but my coop is not large enough for 24 chickens. I have Delawares, Rhode Island Reds, Buff Orpingtons and what I think is a Buff Cochin. McMurrays rare chick. If anyone is interested in a few of any of those types, shoot me an email. I will not be ready to rehome for a few weeks. I would like to see them stay kinda local. My kids know me well.

Later,

Terri

Moving from Scranton to an apartment somewhere in the greater Salisbury area.

We have 6 pullets ( 10 weeks old ) - have no idea how to keep them.

After we sell our home in PA and buy another in MD then we could get back into chickens . . . but we're really attached to these girls !

Looking for someone to talk chicken in the Girdletree Stockton Snow Hill Pocomoke Accomack area. Is there Anybody Out There?

I'm just over the border into MD, but My husband works in VA.

What kind of chickens do you have?

We have some easter eggers, and just got 2 banties off craigslist because we were bummed when our first incubator attempt didn't pan out. 4 days to go on our second attempt. Fingers crossed!
