Hello, I am a newbie as far as chickens go and thought a website like this might be helpful, and it looked really fun.

This year I was able to get 11 chicks late in the spring, and everything has gone pretty smooth (besides the fact that one of the "hens" turned out to be a rooster).
I did have a couple questions though, and I look forward to getting to know some other backyard chicken farmers.
