hi everyone, i am happy to finally be registered. i've been using everyones expert advice for a few weeks now, glad to finally be one of you.
My mom had 90 chickens when i was young, I must have inherited the gene, because I am now a proud owner of 10 chicks (4 of the ten are to be delivered in a few days, so I'll count them anyway).
My DH and I got the idea to raise chickens for eggs/dual purpose (although I dont think i can go through with the meat portion of the purpose : - )
we have 6 of our chicks in a brooder, starting on the coop in a few weeks.
