I have a question... in photos 4 and 5 you have a hen that's black with white around the head and neck. What is her breed or mix?

I had a girl that looked just like yours, but no one seems to know what her breed or mix were.

And where are you going to school in VT? Are you all the way up in Burlington?

my rooster certainly looks a great deal like your RJF roo, with the difference that mine has yellow legs and feet, so obviously there is a cross with something else in his background; he was either born feral or went feral, adopted this backyard before we came ...

three of the hens here resemble that "silver" hen in several pictures with him; these, however, are bantams ... I couldn't ascertain whether they were descended from him and from some EE hens that my friend sold to the former tenant, or whether they are feral hens who just appeared !

we also have one wheaten-colored standard hen and one black "metallic sheen" standard hen, which might also be either EEs sold by friend, or descended from one ...

love the coloring; wish I could keep the young cockerels too, but their "game" background is showing, I don't want injuries, so they are getting a new home as soon as I can catch them
