My avatar is a pic of my california white chicks, I bought 8, and 2 were hens, that was a lot of roosters. So, I gave 5 to my mom in Oregon and kept 3, then butchered the two roos when I found out one of my black ostralops was a roo. The two CW roos were also gang-raping the pet duck I inherited, and she is such a sweet duck. So, in the freezer they went. I have been studying the incubators everyone has shared on this site, and have been gathering materials to make one. I love chickens, the are fun to watch and I enjoy doing so. Watching them run always makes me chuckle...heh, bipeds...
