Welcome. I agree Kim. Nothing beats Gods work.Good morning all!
My name is Kim and I have been keeping poultry for just over 10 years now. I have had an account here on BYC but let it lapse.
My flock is a mixed up brood some RIR's, Barred, Cinnamon, and a bunch of mutts. I let one of my broody hens (Big Red) set and hatch some eggs last fall and it was the EASIEST hatch I've ever had! I've always incubated but I am a changed woman. Those babies were the toughestO I've ever had. Ans they were acclimated to the outdoors immediately. You can't go wrong. Not that I won't hatch myself again but dang, that was cool!
Anyway, besides my flock I also enjoy overwhelming myself with gardening and making most of our food and household items from scratch.
Nice to meet you all,
Kim
