Since peeps seem to think a better house is in order I would recommend craigslist. Our first chickens enjoyed a large covered dog kennel (the chain link kind) with roosts and a couple tarp walls (one third of the kennel had three tarp walls). Hog panels can be thrown over the top and covered with tarp to keep the rain off. We found good sturdy dog kennels real cheap, practically made money on em. It's not a pretty set up but it works. We also found our first real chicken coop on craigslist.
