Hi there!

I am Gramma and inherited the Easter chicks as they became to big for the house. ; )

I must say that this was planned and not done with selfish disregard to the chickens. My son built a wonderful hen house for our three and so far so good!

Could use all the good advice I can get for a 1st time owner. These will be pet chickens and NOT for dinner. Eggs if we are lucky.

Hi Gramma, welcome to BYC!

If you inherited the EE's from your grandkids, I hope they are helping take care of them (a little help with coop cleaning is always nice, lol). Kids plus chickens can be fun for everyone.
