I'm new to the BYC website. I found this site in an internet search tonight, it looked very informative so here I am. I currently have a trio of buff silkies a year old. I also have 7 barred rock pullets 6 weeks old, 26 wyandotte bantams and 35 silkies which are all two weeks old today. I have been away from the hobby for three years. I raised guineas and turkeys before as a hobby. I am looking very forward to getting up and running again. I would love to get a few araucana chicks or eggs to hatch, however they are rare here in KY.

Hello, I am also from Kentucky! Araucana's are beautiful. And you are right, it is hard to find the true Araucana here.
