Hello everyone. I am new to chickens!

Hello, my name is Ashley and I live in upstate NY. I bought a house last Oct. And decided to get some chickens. I built a coop and run and bought a wheaten hen, blue wheaten rooster, and their 6 four wk old chicks. One chick died the first night. I have had them now for 2 weeks and I love them. My two boys ages 12 and 8 love them too. I currently have 11 Rhode Island red eggs in an incubator and am on day 18. I have 3 dogs, a Jack Russell who wishes to eat the chickens, a lab who tries to play with them, and a Caucasian Ovcharka who stares at them. I also have 1 cat. She's also stares at them.
Well, that's me.
