So please share with us as I find it rather facinating.. How does one train a chicken to do all these things?

Well, it is kind of difficult. First, you have to have to either tame a chicken or end up with one of those wonderful chicks that are hatched loving people. You can use treats, but, I actually don't in most of the training. With staying I make them sit (Or wait until they do) and hold my hand gently above them because they don't understand at first, and if they get up, just keep putting them back down and telling them to stay, eventually you can take your hand off them and they will stay until you allow them to get up. For playing dead, I train them to stay up-side-down and I put my hand gently over their face for like, a few seconds, I guess and if you do that; it will be all dark and they will close their eyes. Then You tell them play dead every time you do that routine, and praise them when they stay. Other than that, they usually naturally get tired of holding their heads up to look around if you hold them and walk around with them up-side-down and so they hang their heads back and close their eyes, you can either give them treats or just praise them for it each time and make sure they do it a lot to remember, annd that's what works for me. The buggy thing took a while to perfect, but I was young the only time I did that, and tireless, haha! I would put them in the buggy and make them stay, and give them grass, berries, etc, as long as they stayed. And when they got used to that and jumped up in the buggy on their own, I'd tell them to stay and gently push the baby buggy around. I really don't remember all of it, but persistence and endless lavish treats taught two Milly Fleur hens to get in that buggy any chance they got
