Hello Everyone, I'm New Here!

Hi, I'm Devon and I am brand new to having chickens!
I live in an urban area in South Central PA, and I can keep chickens on my property. We just ordered 8 chicks from mypetchicken.com, we go 2 Columbian Wyandottes, 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes, 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes and 2 Speckled Sussex chickens. Our chicks will be coming in April of 2018.

We will be building a chicken coop in part of our garage. We will also be adding a run and letting the chickens have supervised free range time in our back yard. I found this website in my search to see if keeping chickens in my garage was even possible. I am an animal lover, and I love to Crochet. Together my husband and I have a horse (boarded elsewhere), two dachshunds, a crested gecko and a guinea pig.

I am looking forward to learning a lot about chickens!
