Hello everyone, I'm new^^

...Yes they are all together^^ Bachelor pad^^ This is only possible because the 5 siblings were together from the start and are very social. My oldest is another story  But because the others are very patient with him and not aggressive it works pretty well.
Haha you never can have enough space for tortoises^^ Visitors who don't know much about them are always shocked how fast and active they are. They love and need to run and climb like hell^^
Thank you very much for the link of the reptile thread ❤

Thank you^^ Yes they are really fun to watch. Seeing them sunbathing is somehow relaxing and the other time when they are fourwheeling around and interacting its very interesting and often funny. And they are very tame, when they see us they directly come. Always difficult to do work or alterations in their outdoor enclosure, they want to see and participate in everything^^

That's great information, I didn't know about them. I look forward to seeing more pictures and videos of your tortoises 😁

Thank you all so much for your warm welcomes :love

...I found two pictures showing all my tortoises sunbathing together. In the first picture the second from left in the top row is my oldest, the other 5 are siblings and hatched together.

Today my mother heard on the radio that the avian flu reached our region and town 😔
So this will definitely be something I will have to take into account when planning a (covered) chicken run...
I LOVE them! :love

Hi Katharina - love your tortsoise(s) - what's plural for tortoise?

Not sure where you are (you should add it to your profile), I'm in Wales and our chooks have been in flockdown due to avian flu for the last couple of months but hopefully come spring they will be allowed out. Once the migrating water fowl have returned to wherever ....

Thank you all being so welcoming and being so kind about my tortoises ❤

:frow Hello Katarina :welcome

You will love having your own chickens, I lose time just watching mine they're so entertaining. :)
Thank you, yeah I'm really looking forward and hope everything will work out. I fully understand, I love watching chickens, too. When I was a child I often went in the big coop of our neighbours and just sat there watching the chickens. I talked to them and sang them little songs while they sat in the nestboxes laying  The chickens didn't mind^^ But my mother didn't like me doing it, saying 'I can smell you were sitting with the chickens again!' when I came home 😅

Thank you! ...Tortoises as far as I know^^ (I'm not a native speaker^^) I'm in Germany, Rhineland-Palatinate. Ok thank you I will try to add in my profile!
I'm so sorry your chooks have been in flockdown (that's a good one!) such a long time and still need to be ☹
Yes, here it came apparently with the migrating birds, too. It did come nearer and nearer step by step. Last time it happened here was 2016. Hopefully spring will make things better!
