hello everyone we are from indiana and we are new with chicks

i have 10 hens that are 10weeks and 10 hens that are 6 weeks and we put them togeather they just stay in there own little groups will that change

Are the two groups of chicken different breeds? Sometimes birds of a feather do prefer to flock together. Or maybe they just feel more secure being with their familiar buddies.

Hello from Oregon & welcome to BYC. My flock is mixed & I add to it every so often. It does take a while for the mingling to start most of the time but yours are young and should adjust fine.
